C&I & Behind-the-Meter Storage.
A battery on your side of the meter is the fastest way to cut what you pay for power — and the surest way to keep critical loads alive. We size it to your actual load curve and tariff, install it, and tune the dispatch so it earns its keep every single day.
The practice
Erase your peak.
Keep the lights on.
Most commercial and industrial bills hide two problems a battery solves: demand charges set by a handful of sharp peaks, and outages that stop production cold. A behind-the-meter system clips those peaks before they register and carries your critical loads when the grid drops — often paying for itself out of the savings.
The trick is sizing. Too small and it misses the peaks; too large and the economics sag. So we start with your interval data, not a brochure, and let the numbers set the specification.
- Sized from your actual interval data and tariff, not rules of thumb
- LFP chemistry with multi-layer battery management
- EMS tuned to your tariff, load shape, and on-site solar
- Seamless transfer that carries critical loads through outages
What we build
One battery,
a stack of savings.
The best behind-the-meter systems earn from several jobs at once. We model each one against your load and tariff, then set the EMS to capture them in the order that pays you most.
Demand-charge & peak shaving
Clip demand spikes before they set your contract demand and demand charges — usually the fastest payback in the portfolio.
Backup & UPS replacement
Ride-through for critical loads with no-break transfer — the battery does the job of a UPS and a genset without the fuel or the noise.
Solar self-consumption
Store your rooftop’s midday surplus and use it after dark — lifting self-consumption instead of exporting cheap and buying back dear.
Diesel displacement
Retire DG sets from peak and backup duty — quieter, cleaner, cheaper per kWh, and no fuel logistics or emissions to manage.
Power-quality support
The PCS steadies voltage and power factor and softens the flicker from heavy switching loads — protecting sensitive process equipment.
Smart load management
The EMS orchestrates battery, solar, grid, and flexible loads together — shifting demand automatically to the cheapest, cleanest moment.
How we deliver
Data first.
Hardware second.
Load & tariff study
Your interval data and tariff structure, analysed for peaks, patterns, and every rupee a battery could save or protect.
Savings simulation & sizing
Dispatch simulation across stacked jobs — peak shaving, backup, self-consumption — with degradation modelled over the full life.
System engineering
Cell to cabinet to switchboard: electrical design, thermal management, protection coordination, and transfer scheme.
Install & integration
Cabinet siting, PCS and switchgear integration, and metering — commissioned against factory and site acceptance tests.
EMS commissioning
Dispatch logic tuned to your tariff, load, and solar, with backup transfer proven live and remote monitoring switched on.
Operate & optimise
24×7 monitoring, capacity checks, and periodic tariff reviews — because your load changes and tariffs move over the years.
Safety & assurance
Boring by design.
Right next to your line.
- LFP chemistry — thermally stable, long-cycle-life cells
- Three-layer BMS: cell, rack, and system level
- Thermal management rated for Indian ambient conditions
- Gas detection, suppression & venting for indoor installs
- No-break transfer scheme for critical loads
- DC & AC protection coordination studies
- IEC / UL-aligned system design and testing
- Cybersecure EMS with remote monitoring
- Capacity assurance backed by cell-level telemetry
Good questions
Asked often,
answered straight.
How long until a C&I battery pays for itself?
It depends entirely on your tariff structure and load shape — which is why we start with your interval data, not a brochure. Where demand charges are high and peaks are sharp, the case can be compelling; where they aren’t, we’ll tell you that too, before you spend anything.
Can it replace our diesel gensets and UPS?
For peak and backup duty, usually yes — a properly sized system covers both with no-break transfer, no fuel storage, and no emissions. We assess your critical-load profile and autonomy needs first, and are honest about where a genset still earns its place for very long outages.
Will it work with our existing rooftop solar?
Almost always — AC-coupled retrofits pair with nearly any existing plant, and we assess DC-coupling where inverter headroom allows. The EMS then coordinates solar, battery, and grid so you consume your own generation instead of exporting it cheap.
Is a lithium battery safe inside our facility?
Engineered properly, yes. We use LFP chemistry for its thermal stability, add three layers of battery management, continuous gas detection and suppression, and separation distances per international practice. Safety isn’t a feature we add on — it’s the envelope everything else fits inside.
